 The Uncertain Future

On March 3, 2013, the congregation voted to ask the Presbytery of Seattle to begin the process of shutting down the church.  We concluded we just don't have the resources and personpower to continue to spread the Word in the way God calls us to do as a congregation.  We will be discussing our hopes, fears and plans over the next few months as our life as a Presbyterian Church comes to an end.  We would love to have members of the community and members of the community of faith come walk alongside of us as we take this last journey together.

Sunday, May 5 - CROPWalk.  Starts at 1:00 PM at Liberty Park.  Tammy Strakal is coordinating our participation.

Saturday, May 11 - Special "Clear the Clutter" project!  Lots of helpers needed.  We are literally "clearing the clutter" for our Rummage Sale (see below).  Breakfast at 8:30 AM, Work Party at 9:15 AM

Rummage Sale - May 15 - 16 Set up; May 17 - 18 Sale.  Start your spring cleaning NOW.  Collect what you don't want or need anymore, that is in relatively good condition, and save it for our rummage sale.  Please drop off donations at the church on Wednesday, May 15 or Thursday, May 16.  Proceeds will benefit Miriam's House.

Saturday, June 1 - 6:30 PM  Retirement party for Pastor Tom Masters in the Fellowship Hall.

Sunday, June 30 - Last Harrah celebration and worship:  12:30 - 2:30 PM Refreshments; 2:45 PM Final Worship
